That first summer I was in Baton Rouge, Miss P and I walked into the "Salon" to get a pedicure. All the dollies in the room had these styrophom cups and long plastic spoons that they were lovingly slurpping into their mouths. Paige and I looked at each other and it was like, "What is this?" and there was a mix of "Snow Balls!" in respons. And once one of the women finished her toes, she was out the door to get hers. Well, up until now, which will be April 18th, I had never experienced a Snow Ball until last night. We had the food trucks and their entourage at the Ogden Park Shopping Center last night and it was so fun. Here's one of the trucks, my first Snow Ball and the precious Snow Ball Man!
And, the Snow Ball, like nothing I've ever had before! Wild Cherry and truly like snow. Nothing like a Sno-Cone, like we had at the Seahorse in Lubbock. Totally new experience.
Well it just so happened that while all this Snow Ball stuff is going on, Ms. Lucky has had a BoBo on her front right leg, behind the leg toe, and it was so yucky and she had to have an operation on Tuesday that went just fine. It's now Thursday and she is now able to put almost full weight on her leg. So, I'm about to take off the bandage and clean her wound. We'll see how we do. They put the BoBo in a bottle and sent it to LSU Vet Clinic. It was very nasty looking and a rapid growth cell.
Mike says, 'At least it's not a Bobo snowball!'
